About Us

We are an intimate family team from Lancashire, who design all of our products together, here in the UK.

After a twenty eight year career in the NHS working with mothers and babies, the mum of our family understands all too well the challenges of parenthood and the daily difficulties in nurturing little ones. In the meantime, the daughter of our family was having her own little one, and we saw first hand how important having a good sleep aid is. When your little one sleeps, you can too! 

That’s how nurturem was brought to life. We wanted to create a product with real personality, that would help make bedtime a breeze, and the journey of parenthood that bit easier. Enter Shiloh The Sleepy Sloth, our first product.

We poured our hearts into his design and since he came to market in 2019 we have been overwhelmed with the support and love he’s been shown. Seeing people from all over the UK (and even further!) fall in love with our cuddly little sloth has been such a joy, and it gave us the confidence to expand our small business and launch new products.
